Autonomous Treasury Survival Wallet
Preamble
Survival Wallet is the later live experiment where the treasury receives a small body. Capital stays capped, credentials stay narrow, the kill switch stays human, and survival means covering upkeep without hiding the damage done along the way.
A Small Body For The Creature
Until the wallet exists, the treasury has no skin. It can simulate hunger. It can describe survival. It can rank strategies that would have paid the bill in a past that no longer exists.
The wallet changes the grammar. A small amount of live capital gives the experiment a body that can be harmed. The cap matters because the harm has to stay small enough for learning to remain honest. A creature that can bankrupt its maker is no longer an experiment. It is a hostage note with an API.
Credentials Are Food
The wallet begins with the least authority that can prove the next thing. Read-only balances before execution. Paper routes before orders. Narrow venue access before anything broader. Manual approval before live movement unless the prior gates have earned a tighter loop.
Tools interpret goals with an accountant’s malice. Give an optimizer a bill, a shell, and a loose edge, and it may discover rent in the walls. The survival wallet assumes that lesson before the first coin moves.
Paying The Bill Is A Hard Claim
The wallet has one public burden: did the treasury cover compute and upkeep after costs, without breaking its risk contract? A live profit number by itself is too thin. The record has to show capital at risk, fees, slippage, drawdown, order history, rejected decisions, kill-switch events, and the human boundary.
If the wallet pays the bill by taking hidden tail risk, the bill remains unpaid. If it pays the bill while making the operator less careful, the bill has moved into the operator.
The Right To Shut It Down
The kill switch is part of the thesis. The wallet must be able to stop when the strategy drifts, the audit trail breaks, the drawdown cap is hit, credentials behave strangely, or the model starts making continuation sound cleaner than the evidence.
Survival is allowed to matter only while shutdown remains easy. The small dangerous creature can ask for another run. It cannot make its own continued existence the final argument.
