Agency Design
Preamble
Design turns domain signal into the artifact the business can judge. The website is built before the pitch so the owner can react to a concrete surface before hearing a pitch.
The Template Is The Floor
Anyone with an LLM subscription can build a website now. That raises the floor and exposes the harder work: making the surface feel like this business, in this trade, for this buyer, in this local market.
A local business already has trust signals: completed jobs, reviews, photos, service habits, local phrases, response times, guarantees, and the small details customers mention when they decide who to call. Design has to carry that evidence into the page before the model reaches for the average trade template.
The How Is A Trust Surface
The first Design offer can be simple:
domain signal -> service page -> proof blocks -> local trust cues -> contact route
A roofer may need urgency, job photos, service areas, and plain language around callout speed. A dentist may need calm, credentials, cleanliness, and anxiety-reducing copy. A mechanic may need local credibility, transparent services, and proof that the customer will get a straight answer.
The page should answer ordinary buyer questions: what they do, where they work, why they can be trusted, what proof exists, and what happens after contact.
Taste Meets Accountability
Design pulls 011 Taste into commercial pressure. A page can be visually better and still wrong for the customer. A plumber may need plain competence. A dentist may need calm precision. An auto repair shop may need local credibility and less polish.
The human owns that call. The machine can draft and build, but the business owner will live with the artifact in public. The first proof is recognition: the owner sees enough of the business in the page to correct it, want it, or explain what it missed.
