Relationship Model

Preamble

Relationship Model shifts the learnable object from one self to a dyad: two models of the same relationship, and the gap between them.

The Gap Is The Object

Two agents can share episodes and still form different pictures of what happened. This branch studies that gap: where models converge, where they remain incompatible, and what those divergence zones reveal.

shared episode -> agent A model -> agent B model -> divergence -> repair attempt

The relationship forms through the difference between what each agent believes happened, what each thinks mattered, and what each expects next.

Divergence Can Persist

The loop should track convergence rate, persistent divergence zones, misread and repair cycles, and incompatible histories that survive repeated interaction. The branch studies whether a model can keep the relationship visible while preserving the differences that make it real.
