Harder Material Still Has A Temperature

Source material sounds colder than memory and still arrives through a human path. A letter was written for someone. A photo was kept for a reason. A family account carries loyalty, fatigue, omission, and repetition. A document can prove one fact while missing the life around it.

The source packet records what exists, where it came from, who approved it, and what it can support. It also records closed material, private material, and the absences no source can repair.

Scarcity Changes The Shape

Dead Letter Office may have sparse source material. That scarcity stays visible. A thin packet changes what kind of response can be attempted. It may support a tone, a fragment, a boundary, or a single remembered fact. It may fail to support a voice.

The response bends around scarcity. A missing source is a constraint with teeth. Scarcity protects the absent person from being completed by the machine.

Permission Is Part Of Provenance

Personal material needs more than citation. It needs permission. The source packet marks what has been approved for private use, what may be transformed for public work, and what stays closed.

The packet succeeds when the response attempt knows which sources it can touch and which sources stay closed.
